Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Sr. System Administrator responsible for managing server infrastructure, ensuring system stability, and supporting both hardware and software environments. The role involves handling system installations, troubleshooting, network management, and supporting DevOps tools in a fast-paced IT environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers
• Perform server patching, upgrades, and performance monitoring
• Manage LAN/WAN networks and VPN connectivity
• Handle hardware troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and servers
• Support software deployment and environment setup
• Maintain IT asset inventory (hardware & software)
• Monitor systems and ensure high availability and security
• Work with ticketing tools to resolve incidents and service requests
• Assist in virtualization and firewall management
• Support DevOps tools and application hosting environments

Technical Skills Required

System & Server Administration

• Installation & troubleshooting of:
  • Windows Server (2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022)
  • Windows 10 & 11
• Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, CentOS) administration
• Understanding of Linux system components (fstab, fdisk, run levels, vi/nano editors)

Hardware & Networking

• Computer assembly/disassembly expertise
• Hardware diagnostics for desktops, laptops & servers
• Network troubleshooting (LAN/WAN) and VPN management
• Knowledge of PfSense Firewall management

Software & Tools

• Experience with:
  • Office 365 configuration & troubleshooting
  • IIS and Tomcat server hosting
  • Development tools (.NET Framework, Visual Studio, MS SQL Client/Server)
• Database installation knowledge:
  • Oracle
  • MS SQL Server

DevOps & Monitoring

• Exposure to:
  • Jenkins
  • SonarQube
  • JFrog Artifactory
  • Review Board
• Basic knowledge of server monitoring tools
• Understanding of virtualization technologies
• Awareness of ITIL processes

Educational Qualification
