Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior QA Analyst with strong expertise in software testing and a solid understanding of the Mutual Fund domain. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through effective test planning, test execution, defect tracking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze business and functional requirements to prepare effective test strategies
- Design, develop, review, and execute test cases and test scenarios
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects through to closure
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and testing best practices
- Collaborate closely with Development, Business Analysts, and Project teams to resolve issues
- Participate in requirement analysis and review meetings
- Support testing activities across various phases of SDLC and STLC
- Validate data integrity and perform basic database testing where required
Required Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Fundamentals
- Good knowledge of SDLC and STLC methodologies
- Hands-on experience in Manual Testing
- Experience in writing Test Cases, Test Scenarios, and Defect Reports
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of MS SQL
- Exposure to Database Testing
Domain Expertise:
- Mandatory experience or knowledge in the Mutual Fund Domain

Essential Requirements:
- Mutual Fund Domain knowledge is mandatory
- Strong understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies
- Experience working within SDLC/STLC environments
- Ability to independently prepare and execute test cases and scenarios
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (B.E.) or Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Computer Science or a related field
Professional Certifications:
- ISTQB Certification preferred
- Certification in Software Testing will be an added advantage
Experience Required:
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing
